Garage Cleanouts in Tucker
Your garage should hold a car, a workbench and the things you actually use. We carry out the rest, from sagging boxes to a dead freezer. One person plans the job with you and stays with it until the slab is swept.
When a garage cleanout is the right call
Garages rarely fill up overnight. Leftover moving boxes, spare tile from a remodel and a treadmill nobody uses pile up until parking inside stops being an option. A cleanout makes sense when you want the whole space cleared in one visit instead of a run to the curb every weekend.
We handle the heavy lifting, the loading and the hauling. You decide what stays, and we work around it carefully. Things that still have life in them, like a working bike or a sturdy bookcase, go to a donation center when one will accept them. Everything else is taken to the right recycling or disposal facility for that material.
You talk with the same person from the first phone call to the final walkthrough. That person knows what you asked to keep, what goes and where the fragile shelving is, so you never have to explain your garage twice.
What the cleanout includes
A walkthrough before we lift anything
We go through the garage with you and mark what stays. Anything you are unsure about gets its own pile, so nothing leaves by accident.
All the carrying and loading
Old mowers, workbenches, exercise equipment, mattresses, holiday decorations and boxes of every size. Our crew carries everything out and loads the truck, so you never lift a thing.
Shelving and fixtures taken down
Freestanding shelves, wall-mounted racks and old cabinets can come down and leave with the load. We remove them with care, and we show you any anchors or holes left in the drywall so you know what to touch up.
Donation and disposal sorting
Furniture, tools and household goods in decent shape are separated for donation where possible. Scrap metal and other recyclables are kept apart from general waste.
Swept concrete before we go
After the final load, we sweep the slab and brush out the cobwebs and leaf litter that gather along the door seal. You see bare concrete before the truck pulls away.

Signs your garage is ready for a cleanout
- The car has not been inside in months
- If the bay you paid for is now storage, a cleanout gives it back in a single visit.
- Boxes are soft or musty
- Georgia summers push garage humidity high, and cardboard on a bare slab absorbs it. Soft corners and a stale smell usually mean the contents are already damaged and drawing pests.
- Pests have moved in
- Droppings, chewed boxes or spider webs behind every stack are a sign that clutter is giving them shelter. Clearing it out removes the cover.
- You cannot reach the panel or water heater
- Breaker panels, water heaters and shutoff valves often sit in the garage. If you have to move furniture to reach them, the space has become a safety problem.
- A move, sale or remodel is coming
- An empty garage makes listing photos, moving day and contractor access much simpler.
How the day runs
- 1
A phone call and a free estimate
You call, describe the garage, and we set up a free, no-obligation on-site estimate. Your coordinator looks at the volume and access and gives you upfront pricing with no hidden fees before any work is scheduled.
- 2
Scheduling that fits your week
Same-day and next-day service is available. Which slot works for you depends on how much is in the garage and what is already on our calendar. You get a clear arrival window and the name of the person running your cleanout.
- 3
Sorting, loading and hauling
The crew starts at the door and works inward, checking with you before touching anything in the keep pile. We lay down protection on finished floors if we pass through your home, and the driveway stays clear for your cars between loads.
- 4
Sweep and final walkthrough
We sweep the slab, then walk the empty garage with you. If something was missed or you change your mind about an item, it is handled before we leave.
What moves the cost of a garage cleanout
We price a garage cleanout by what has to leave, so the number reflects your load and the work involved. Your coordinator sees the garage in person and gives you the price before work starts. If you add items on the day, we go over the change with you before loading them.
- Volume
- How much of the truck your items fill drives the price more than anything else. A half-full single bay and a two-car garage stacked to the rafters sit at opposite ends of the scale.
- How heavy the load is
- Concrete, tile, old paint cans and heavy steel equipment cost more to dispose of than boxes and light furniture.
- Takedown work
- Removing wall shelving, overhead racks or a built-in workbench adds labor beyond simple carrying.
- Items needing special handling
- Tires, refrigerators and some chemicals have their own disposal rules and fees. We tell you on the call which items fall into this group and which we cannot take.
Questions about garage cleanouts
- Should I be there while you work?
- Please be on hand at the start, when we walk the garage and agree on the keep pile. Once that is settled, plenty of people run errands and return to an empty garage. Your coordinator will phone you if anything needs a decision.
- What about old paint, oil and pesticides?
- Dried-out latex paint can usually go with a regular load. Oil-based paint, motor oil, pool chemicals and pesticides are hazardous waste and are handled through county drop-off programs. We will tell you on the estimate which containers we can take and which need a separate trip.
- Can you clear just part of the garage?
- Yes. Plenty of people want one wall or one bay cleared and the rest left alone. We price only what leaves, so a partial cleanout costs less than a full one.
- How long does a garage cleanout take?
- A single bay of boxes and small furniture often takes a couple of hours. A packed two-car garage with shelving to take down can fill most of a day. Your coordinator gives you a realistic estimate after seeing the space.
- Do you also clear basements or storage units?
- Yes. Many of our garage jobs turn into basement cleanouts or storage unit cleanouts once people see how much easier the first space feels. The same coordinator can plan both and schedule them together.
