Furniture Removal in Tucker
We take out the sofa that won't fit the new room, the bed frame from the upstairs guest room, or a whole houseful of dated pieces. One person plans the job with you, our crew lifts and carries, and your home is left as we found it.
Heavy pieces out, your home untouched
Furniture removal is the right call when a piece is too big, too heavy or too awkward to move yourself, or when you simply have more than a car trunk can take. Solid wood dressers, sleeper sofas with steel mechanisms and pressboard wardrobes that crumble when tipped all need a different kind of handling.
The person you speak with on the first call is the same person who confirms your time, briefs the crew and checks in after the truck leaves. You explain the stairs, the tight hallway and the piece that matters to you once, and that knowledge travels with the job. Same-day and next-day service is available.
What our furniture removal includes
Removal from any room
We carry pieces down stairs, out of basements and through narrow doorways. You do not need to move anything to the curb first.
Floor and wall protection
We lay runners over hardwood and carpet and pad corners and banisters along the path. Door frames get attention too, since that is where most scuffs happen.
Careful disassembly
Bed frames, sectionals, bunk beds and modular shelving are taken apart when that is the safer way out. We bring our own tools and keep hardware together.
Donation and recycling sorting
Pieces in good condition are set aside for donation, and metal frames and springs go to recycling where possible. What cannot be reused is disposed of properly.
A swept floor where it stood
After the last piece is carried out, we sweep the bare patch it left behind. The dust and stray buttons hiding under a twenty-year-old couch leave with us.

Signs it is time to call for furniture removal
- A new delivery is coming
- The new sofa arrives Thursday and the old one is still in the living room. We can clear the space before the delivery crew shows up.
- Sagging, broken or stained pieces
- Collapsed cushions, cracked frames and water-stained upholstery rarely find a second home. They are better hauled than stored.
- Pieces that will not fit through the door
- If a sectional went in before a renovation narrowed the hallway, getting it out takes planning and sometimes disassembly.
- Downsizing or settling an estate
- When a whole home of furniture needs to go, one coordinated visit is easier than a dozen trips. We can pair this with a basement cleanout or garage cleanout on the same day.
- Spare rooms that have become storage
- Old mattresses, extra chairs and a treadmill nobody uses can reclaim a room once they leave.
How a furniture removal job runs
- 1
A conversation by phone
You describe the pieces, the rooms they are in and any stairs or tight turns. We offer free, no-obligation on-site estimates if you would rather we see it first.
- 2
A clear price before we lift
We walk through the price with you in person and wait for your okay before the crew touches a single piece. The figure is laid out plainly, and nothing gets tacked on later.
- 3
Protect, then carry
The crew sets down floor runners and pads the path, then removes each piece in the order that keeps the exit clear.
- 4
Sort and sweep
Donatable items are loaded separately, the room is swept, and your contact checks that everything you wanted gone is gone.
What shapes the cost of furniture removal
Two things set the price: how much of the truck your pieces fill and how much work it takes to bring them out of your home. A single armchair by the front door and a solid oak armoire on a third floor are very different jobs. You hear the reasoning behind the number before anyone picks up a piece.
- Volume
- Larger and bulkier pieces fill more of the truck. A sectional or king bed set takes more room than a few side tables.
- Weight and material
- Solid hardwood, marble tops and sleeper mechanisms are heavy and may need an extra crew member.
- Access and stairs
- Upper floors, basements, tight landings and long walks to the truck all add time.
- Disassembly
- Pieces that must come apart to clear a doorway take longer than those that leave whole.
Furniture removal questions
- Do I need to bring furniture outside before you arrive?
- No. We remove pieces from wherever they sit in your home, including upstairs bedrooms and finished basements. Please clear a walking path if you can, and we handle the rest.
- Will you donate furniture that is still in good shape?
- Yes, when the piece is clean and sound we set it aside for donation. Items with heavy stains, broken frames or pet damage are usually not accepted by charities, so those are recycled or disposed of instead. We will tell you which way each piece is likely to go.
- Can you take a mattress and box spring along with the bed frame?
- Yes. Mattresses, box springs, frames and headboards are all part of furniture removal. We wrap or bag mattresses on request to keep the carry tidy through your home.
- What if I also have an old washer or refrigerator?
- We can take it in the same visit. Our appliance removal service covers the extra handling those units need, and your contact will plan both together so there is one appointment and one price.
- How do you avoid damage to my floors and walls?
- We put runners down on every floor along the route and pad railings, corners and door frames. Heavy pieces are carried rather than dragged, and larger items are taken apart when that makes the exit safer.
